Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the comfort and well-being of patients while assisting with various medical procedures.

Duties:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
• Assist with senior care, including providing support for activities of daily living
• Perform tube feeding and gastric lavage procedures as needed
• Assist with airway management, including suctioning and oxygen administration
• Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing
• Maintain cleanliness and sterility in patient care areas and during sterile processing
• Utilize your knowledge of anatomy to accurately assess patients' conditions
• Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Adhere to infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases

Skills:

• Proficiency in senior care practices, including assisting with activities of daily living
• Experience with tube feeding and gastric lavage procedures
• Knowledge of airway management techniques, including suctioning and oxygen administration
• Familiarity with specimen collection processing for laboratory testing
• Understanding of sterile processing techniques to maintain cleanliness and sterility
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy to accurately assess patients' conditions
• Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating compassion and empathy towards patients
• Familiarity with medical imaging procedures and equipment
