Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert nursing care across various clinical settings, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, comfort, and well-being. Your expertise will support diverse patient populations, from acute care to long-term and specialized medical services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working in a collaborative and innovative environment. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Administer medications and injections accurately following HIPAA guidelines and aseptic techniques, including IV infusions, suturing, and medication management. Monitor patients' conditions closely through telemetry, ventilator management, and critical care procedures in ICU or Level I/II trauma center settings. Coordinate care plans with multidisciplinary teams for specialties such as cardiology (including catheterization), ophthalmology, nephrology (dialysis), pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health, and hospice & palliative medicine. Perform diagnostic evaluations, specimen collection/processing, and laboratory testing while maintaining infection control standards. Assist with procedures like tube feeding, ostomy care, catheterization, and wound management in various environments including hospital medicine units and outpatient clinics. Educate patients and families on health coaching, discharge planning, medication administration, and post-acute care needs to promote recovery and long-term wellness. Requirements Valid nursing license (RN) in good standing with relevant state licensing boards. Proven experience working in diverse clinical settings such as ICU, emergency room, labor & delivery, or outpatient clinics. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner or Athenahealth for accurate medical documentation. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and laboratory procedures. Critical care experience preferred; additional expertise in trauma medicine, infectious disease care or occupational health is a plus. Ability to perform advanced skills including IV insertion, venipuncture, sterile processing techniques, and aseptic procedures. Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to triage effectively across urgent care or emergency scenarios. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or complex needs such as memory care or dementia is highly valued.
