Hospital Parkway Bedford, TX 76022 Work hours: PRN Level III/per diem, Night Shift 7p
  • 7a; minimum requirement: 6 shift/per 6-week schedule, 2 weekend shift/per 6-week schedule, 1 major/2 minor holiday requirement Gynecology / Antepartum Unit Department highlights: 14 bed Obstetrics / Gynecology / Antepartum Unit 12 bed Mother/Baby and Maternal/Newborn Unit 9 bed
LDR, 3 OR
suites, 4 bed OB ED unit with an average of 200 deliveries a month Level
III NICU
Couplet care and Level III Maternal Designation Self-Scheduling OB Hospitalist onsite 24 hours Certification rate over 50% Nursing Clinical Ladder participation rate over 50% Excellent teamwork Here's What You Need Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred RN
  • Registered Nurse Upon Hire required BCLS
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required NRP
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days of hire CPI
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program Req 1 year of Gynecology / Antepartum or Women's experience preferred What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
