Qualifications:

Current and unrestricted RN license Previous experience in a medical-surgical nursing environment required Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Ability to adapt in a fast-paced hospital setting BLS certification (current, from the American Heart Association) ACLS certification preferred Proficiency with electronic medical records

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in the medical-surgical unit Monitor and document patient condition, administering medications and treatments as prescribed Collaborate with physicians and allied health staff to develop and implement individualized care plans Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, planned procedures, and post-discharge care Respond swiftly to changes in patient condition, initiating emergency protocols as necessary Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation complies with hospital policies and standards Promote a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and colleagues
