Supports the mission statement, policies and procedures of the Baptist Health System. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION
Graduate of accredited school of nursing
PREFERRED EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
None
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Completion of peri-anesthesia or critical care internship/training course
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE
Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse or currently eligible for state board certification.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE
Surgery - CNOR Board eligible/certified Post Anesthesia-CPAN Board eligible/certified GI Lab SGNA Board eligible/certified
REQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS
(e.g., CPR): BLS - required for all areas-Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training or the Military Training Network ACLS required for all areas in Surgery Services and must obtain within 6 months of date of hire or transfer into unit PALS- required for Post Anesthesia and must obtain within 6 months of date of hire or transfer into unit #LI-NS1 Organization Description Resolute Baptist Hospital offers a full range of comprehensive healthcare, including emergency services, cardiology and cardiovascular care, orthopedics, primary care, rehabilitation services, Womens Health, Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics, Neonatal and the areas only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
