Aveanna Healthcare is seeking compassionate Private Duty Registered Nurses to provide one-on-one care for pediatric and adult patients in their homes. In this role, you will deliver skilled nursing on day and night shifts, including assessments, medication administration, trach and vent care, and wound management. You will collaborate with families and the care team, document in EMRs, and follow individualized care plans. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric and adult patients in their homes Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per physician orders Deliver tracheostomy, ventilator, and respiratory care as needed Manage wound care, enteral feeding, and IV therapy when indicated Document care accurately in electronic medical records and follow care plans Educate and support patients and families on disease management and equipment Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care coordinators to optimize outcomes Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards Participate in ongoing training and competency development offered by Aveanna Required Skills Patient assessment Care planning IV therapy and medication administration Wound care Tracheostomy care Ventilator management Electronic medical record documentation Care coordination Infection control Family and caregiver education
