  • Seasonal Temp position for Night shifts
  • Contract runs September 20, 2026-April 3, 2027
  • $55/HR
  • Must work 72 Hours a pay period

  • Job Summary and Qualifications
  • Utilizing the standards set forth for nursing practice by the ANA and ONS, the RN will organize, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care for oncology and medical/surgical patients. It will include individualized, family-centered, holistic, supportive, and safe care.
  • What qualifications you will need:
  • + •Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing•+ •If hired after 6/1/12, BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position.
  • + •Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license•+ •Current American Heart Association or ARC BLS provider.
  • + •Effective 1/1/24, current American Heart Association or
ARC ACLS

provider within 6 months of hire or transfer.

  • + •ONS Chemotherapy biotherapy certificate course required within 60 days of hire or transfer•+ •Strong communication skills in both oral and written format.
  • + •Flexibility to intervene on a moment's notice.
  • + •Ability to problem-solve and seek assistance from team members when necessary.
  • + •Ability to cope with death and dying.
  • PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
  • All seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period.
  • Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need.
  • Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period.
  • During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee).
  • Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital.
  • Seasonal Staff will
  • not•be eligible for extra shift bonuses (D1/CND or D2/ECD)•Registered Nurses who are in the Seasonal program will have one opportunity to pass the clinical competency evaluation.
