An Intensive Care Registered Nurse cares for acutely ill patients in an intensive care or critical care clinical setting. Works with Physicians and other specialists as part of a critical care team. Monitors patients, coordinates care, and provides advanced life support as needed.

Job Description
As a Registered Nurse Med Surg Trauma, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn
- whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medication.
What qualifications you will need:
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS
: Current Registered Nursing License in state of Texas or Compact state- Required . Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Required .
EDUC ATION/EXPERIENCE
: Bachelors in Nursi ng Science —Preferred Associates degree or Diploma in Nursing- Required
CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
: Medica l /Surgical Nursing experience- Preferred Medical Surgical ANCC Certification
- -Preferred Reads and writes basic English
- Required Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Required Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills
- Required Ability to listen, empathize and respond to patient, family, internal and external partner needs.
- Required Basic computer skills and proficiency
