Registered Nurse - ICU

Work location: Texas Health Flower Mound, 4400 Long Prairie Rd, Flower Mound, Texas 75028
Work hours: Full Time, Nights - working 36 hrs/week.
Weekend and holiday requirements
ICU Department highlights:
Join our 12-bed merged ICU/IMC unit, where we provide flexible, high-quality care for a mix of ICU and Intermediate Care patients based on individual clinical needs.
Care for a diverse range of medical and surgical diagnoses in a dynamic, evolving environment. While major cardiac recovery is not currently part of our scope, our program is actively growing.
The unit experiences a mix of acuity that is balanced by shifts which allow for focused, thoughtful patient care—not just constant hustle and bustle.
We foster a strong culture of teamwork and patient safety—you are never alone, and support is always within reach.

Here's What You Need
Diploma in Nursing required or
Associate's degree in nursing required
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
1 year experience as a clinical nurse required
Critical Care experience preferred but not required
RN
- Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required And
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required And
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required And
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 90 Days Require
