Work Schedule:

Rotating days or nights: 8 or 12hr shifts not to exceed 80 hours in a 14-day work period. This is with Federal client and involves federal benefits Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: Provide nursing care across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases. Perform physiological and psychological assessments and develop individualized care plans. Provide care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures of differing complexity. Function as a circulating nurse and scrub nurse as required. Maintain accurate surgical counts and properly handle/label specimens and cultures. Complete preoperative documentation and monitor surgical equipment, including lasers, microscopes, power equipment, and electrosurgical units. Follow steam, Steris, and Sterrad sterilization standards and verify equipment sterility. Provide detailed handoff to

PACU/SICU

staff regarding procedures, patient status, orders, and specialized care. Perform postoperative assessments and patient care. To be considered for this position, you should have: 1+ year of full-time OR nursing experience within the last 2 years in a hospital or surgical center. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Pay:

$45.89 - $48.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
