!! We are looking for a Weekday after-hours On-Call Registered Nurse 5:00 pm to 9:00 am Monday
  • Friday to join our team.

This is not a triage-only job, visits are expected to be made that require assessment and treatment, includes after hour admissions. Dallas /Fort Worth Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to aid in our mission: to provide cost-efficient, quality home care services to the patients entrusted in our care. As a Hospice Registered Nurse you will: Assess, supervise and direct patient care. Perform patient care as required, including home assessments. Develop plans of treatment. Ensure and chart compliance with state regulations. Evaluate and treat patients using the most current technology and practices. Provide valuable input into the patient's care and treatment. Other requirements include:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State of Texas Minimum 2-3 years of Home Health or Hospice Experience Experience with Homecare Homebase or other EMR not required but a HUGE plus Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Respecting the patient's privacy and maintaining confidentiality Current Texas driver's license and automobile liability insurance CPR Certification If you have a passion for providing and directing outstanding patient care, are familiar with regulations, have good documentation skills, and enjoy meeting new people, then this is the job for you.
