1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a 13-week contract requiring at least 1 year of OR experience and ACLS certification. Details Surgery Operating Room department within a hospital setting 4-bed unit with 1:1 patient ratios Procedures include orthopedic, robotic general surgery, urology, breast oncology, podiatry, and ENT cases Uses standard OR equipment and Meditech EMR Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM Call required, including rotating weekday and weekend (24-hour) shifts, with weekend call limited to call cases only Requirements Active RN license (Texas or Compact) BLS and ACLS certification required Minimum 1 year of recent OR/Surgery nursing experience US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted) One professional reference required No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide perioperative nursing care across a variety of surgical specialties as part of a collaborative OR team Team includes OR Manager, Charge Nurse, CSTs, RNs, schedulers, and support staff Ceil blue scrub color required Candidates should be flexible and personable to fit the unit's team culture Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
