Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for surgery
• Assist the surgical team during procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and proper equipment setup
• Monitor patients' vital signs and provide post-operative care
• Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures and post-operative care
• Document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room setting
• Proficiency in IV insertion and specimen collection processing
• Experience with esthetic laser treatment is a plus
• Knowledge of discharge planning and post-operative care protocols
• Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required
• Proficient in physical examinations and patient assessment techniques
