By taking on this assignment, you'll collaborate with dedicated surgical teams in the Operating Room, managing cases spanning vascular, plastics and reconstructive surgeries (including DIEP Flaps and microsurgery), robotics-assisted procedures (Bariatric, GYN, General, Colorectal), and advanced orthopedics (total joint replacements). Such variety ensures every shift brings new learning opportunities and the means to strengthen your resume significantly.
Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment with rotating shifts (specifics provided upon interview)
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Current, active RN license required At least one year of recent Operating Room experience Vascular surgery and plastics/reconstructive case experience highly recommended Familiarity with robotics-assisted procedures (Bariatric, GYN, General, Colorectal) preferred Experience with orthopedics, especially total joints, is a plus Strong critical thinking, communication, and adaptability skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver patient-centered intraoperative care for a range of complex surgical cases Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical techs for smooth workflow and positive outcomes Maintain the highest standards of safety, sterility, and quality control Safeguard accurate documentation and compliance with all operating room protocols Contribute to rapid response and problem-solving within a fast-paced environment
