This position involves providing independent nursing care in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in routine and complex patient care, and managing contingencies effectively. The nurse makes appropriate assignments and delegates tasks to care team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Responsibilities:
Meet the competencies of self-leadership, team leadership, or leadership of leaders. Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—for assigned patients, aligned with ANA standards. Address patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, adapting care accordingly. Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side-effects and efficacy. Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately. Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and available resources.Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience in a related nursing specialty preferred. Current RN license in the state of employment or via compact license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Additional Details:
