Key Qualifications:

Current professional Texas RN or LVN license (required) Experience in K-12, pediatric, or school nursing settings highly valued Completion of state fingerprinting/background check prior to start Strong skills in feeding, toileting, and assisting with physical transfers Must not be a former employee or previously terminated from any school district Commitment to full-time hours (MondayFriday, 8AM4PM, 37.5 hours per week) Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities

Core Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to three high school students in need of regular support throughout the school day Perform clinical tasks such as medication administration, feeding assistance, toileting, and transferring students between positions Monitor and document students health status and response to care Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure a safe, nurturing environment Maintain strict adherence to student privacy and all district policies Complete required paperwork and assist with relevant affidavits regarding district employment history This position offers the unique chance to build close relationships and contribute directly to student achievement and comfort.
