Job Summary The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for coordinating clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care, and supporting staff within the Buena Vista FSED. This role involves overseeing workflows, managing resources, and fostering collaboration among interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The Clinical Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for clinical inquiries, process improvements, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
Essential Functions Operations :
Coordinates daily clinical operations, including patient flow, resource allocation, and staff assignments.
Staff Support :
Provides guidance, addresses concerns, and assists with complex patient care situations.
Collaboration :
Works with interdisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate care plans.
Training :
Assists in onboarding and training new clinical staff on established protocols.
Documentation :
Maintains accurate records related to patient care and quality measures.
Liaison :
Acts as a bridge between staff, physicians, patients, and families to resolve concerns.
Resource Management :
Ensures availability and proper use of equipment and supplies.
Crisis Management :
Participates in emergency response planning and execution.
Compliance :
Maintains regular attendance and complies with all hospital policies.
Qualifications Experience:
1-3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting required.
Leadership:
1-2 years of prior experience in a coordination or leadership role preferred.
Education/Licensure:
RN
  • Registered Nurse (State of Texas and/or Compact State Licensure) required. BLS
  • Basic Life Support required. ACLS
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to oversee complex patient care situations. Effective communication skills to facilitate collaboration among interdisciplinary teams. Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills for operational challenges. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, policies, and quality improvement practices. Ability to train, mentor, and support clinical staff. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship now or in the future. Experience:
