Registered Nurse Immediate opening for a full-time Regsistered Nurse. Strong inter-personal skills are vital. Must possess a positive and cooperative team-oriented attitude. An excellent history of attendance at work is required. Job Responsibilities RNs must perform pre-treatment screenings, review client medical histories, monitor vitals, and observe clients during and after infusions for adverse reactions and document in electronic medical record Educate patient on medication and physicians instructions Follow orders for Elective IV hydration and vitamin therapies. These therapies require a valid prescription or medical protocol ordered by a supervising physician, Physician Assistant (PA), or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). Authorize drug refills and provide prescription information to pharmacies Address phone calls and/or questions patients may have Maintain inventory and sales spreadsheet Travel between our two locations, Boerne and Shavano Park Requirements Must possess a current, unrestricted Registered Nurse License, recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing Maintain an active BLS certification to manage potential adverse reactions or emergencies Venipuncture proficiency - IV placement Experience with eClinical Works electronic medical record is a preferred We offer a competitive salary based on experience, insurance benefits, Paid Time Off and 401(k) offered when service milestones met We will conduct interviews on an ongoing basis as we receive applications until the position is filled
