3002584989-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Registered Nurse RN Noninvasive Cardiology at Methodist Healthcare provides patient-centered care for cardiac patients undergoing noninvasive diagnostics, including EKGs, stress tests, and Holter monitoring. The RN coordinates exams, monitors patient status, administers cardiac medications, and provides education on procedures and cardiac health. Working in a mission-driven, team-based environment, this role collaborates with cardiologists and multidisciplinary staff to ensure safe, high-quality care while supporting continuous learning and professional growth within a leading San Antonio healthcare system. Responsibilities Perform and coordinate noninvasive cardiac diagnostic procedures (EKG, stress tests, Holter monitoring) Continuously assess, monitor, and document patient status before, during, and after procedures Administer cardiac medications and follow evidence-based protocols Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Educate patients and families on procedures, results, and cardiac risk factor management Maintain accurate records in the EMR and ensure regulatory and quality standards are met Follow infection control, safety, and emergency response protocols (including ACLS) Support unit-based quality improvement and participate in ongoing education and training Required Skills Noninvasive cardiac monitoring EKG/ECG interpretation Stress testing procedures Holter and event monitoring IV insertion and management Cardiac medications administration Patient assessment and triage Electronic medical records (EMR) ACLS protocols Infection control practices
