N/A Additional Details about the position Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and reassessments per policy for adolescent general patient populations. Assess and reassess pain; apply appropriate pain management techniques and educate patients and families. Revise the plan of care based on patient response and evaluate its effectiveness daily. Deliver age-appropriate care tailored to the patient's condition and developmental stage. Administer medications accurately, based on patient age and clinical condition, following the five rights of medication safety. Develop and implement individualized teaching plans; evaluate learning outcomes and include family education as appropriate. Assist physicians with procedures and perform technical and manual nursing tasks within licensure scope. Provide treatments and services consistent with licensure and clinical competencies.

Charge experience highly preferred 2 years experience

BLS ACLS PALS TNCC
