The Role:

Interventional Radiology RN This critical role involves caring for patients before, during, and immediately following complex IR procedures. You will be instrumental in the success of our operations, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Procedure:

Assess patient health status, confirm consent, establish IV access, and provide procedural education.

Intra-Procedure:

Monitor patient vital signs and sedation levels (conscious sedation), circulate, and assist the physician with sterile technique and equipment management.

Post-Procedure:

Manage patient recovery, monitor for complications, provide discharge education, and document all aspects of care accurately and timely. Manage a wide variety of advanced, minimally-invasive procedures, offering diverse clinical exposure within the women's and men's health, orthopedic, gastrointestinal, and peripheral vascular spaces. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and ensure all regulatory standards are met. What You'll Bring (Qualifications): Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in TX. Ideally, experience in one or more of the following areas: Critical Care (ICU/CCU/ED), Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, and/or Perioperative Services . Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
