Job Description

We're seeking an experienced L&D nurse with strong skills across L&D, LDRP, circulating C-sections, newborn transition, and general labor care. The RN plans, organizes, and delivers patient care for the assigned shift. This includes assessing patients, coordinating care with providers and interdisciplinary teams, advocating for patients, and maintaining current nursing standards and policies. The ideal candidate can also step into charge when needed.
Core Responsibilities:
Labor & Delivery patient care Maternal and fetal assessment Care coordination with OB providers and interdisciplinary teams Patient advocacy and safety-focused care Clinical documentation and adherence to nursing standards Charge Nurse Duties (as needed): Patient assignment based on acuity and staffing Staff oversight and support (including agency/new staff) Clinical prioritization and escalation Delegation per Texas Administrative Code Compliance with regulatory and hospital standards
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience Active Texas RN license Charge Nurse experience preferred but not required Unit-required certifications:
BLS, CPI, NIHS
Scale, etc
Shifts:
3x12s - Days (7a-7p) or Nights (7p-7a)
