Job Description
Registered Nurse/RN II
- Emergency Department Full Time Evenings Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Rockwall
- 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032 Work hours: Full Time, 36 hours weekly, (3) 12-hour Evening shifts 11am-11pm, including every other weekend
Training:
Must be able to attend training at the corporate office in Arlington 8am-5pm during the first 1-5 days of hireEmergency Department Highlights:
Engaged leadership that actively works to assist staff. Supportive team environment. New and advanced equipment and technology. Here's What You Need Nursing Diploma required or Associate's degree in Nursing required or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required Emergency Department experience or trauma unit experience strongly preferred Texas RN- Registered Nurse required upon hire and BCLS
- Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly CPI
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually ACLS
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire and PALS
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within 90 days of hire and TNCC
- Trauma Nursing Core Course preferred upon hire A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment. What You Will Do Basic Human Needs
