A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

- 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032 Work hours: PRN "as needed"
- variable Days 7am-7pm,
Required:
a minimum of (6) 12-hour shifts per six-week period, (2) weekend shifts per six-week period, (1) major holiday and (2) minor holidays per year.Training:
Must be able to attend training at the corporate office in Arlington from 8am-5pm for the first 1-5 days of hire.Mother/Baby Department Highlights:

Here's What You Need Nursing Diploma required or Associate's degree in Nursing required or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred 1 year experience as registered nurse required 1 year o f Mother-Baby/Postpartum experience strongly preferred Texas RN- Registered Nurse required upon hire and BCLS
- Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly NRP
- Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire and CPI
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment. What You Will Do Basic Human Needs
