Full Job Description Now Hiring:
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) Rowlett, TX | Long-Term Care & Skilled Nursing We are a dynamic and resident-focused nursing facility in Rowlett seeking a dedicated and compassionate LVN or RN to join our team. This position is ideal for a motivated nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality care to both long-term and skilled nursing residents.
Position Overview:
The selected candidate will serve as a nurse on one of our long-term care halls, providing comprehensive nursing care while also supporting the needs of skilled patients. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents Manage and support skilled nursing patients, including treatments and monitoring Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal resident outcomes Supervise and support CNAs and other care staff Maintain accurate and timely documentation Respond effectively to changes in resident condition
Qualifications:
Current, active LVN or RN license in the state of Texas Experience in long-term care required Experience with skilled nursing patients strongly preferred Strong assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
