We have an extremely large footprint of outpatient services in the community including physical medicine, wound care, sleep center, imaging, and two free-standing Emergency Departments. These outpatient services serve the communities of Rowlett, Forney, Wylie, and many more in the surrounding area. Lake Pointe is licensed for 176 beds which include three medical surgical units, an intensive care unit, Labor & Delivery, New Family Unit, Antepartum, Neonatal Intensive Care, Surgical Services, Cardiac Cath Lab, Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, and Emergency Department. The hospital carries multiple designations including Level III Trauma, Chest Pain Accreditation, Primary Stroke Accreditation, Maternal and Level

III NICU.

You assess patients, plan personalized care, and evaluate responses to health issues. You keep patients safe by understanding their needs and the healthcare setting for smoother transitions. You delegate interventions to team members based on guidelines, patient condition, and team abilities. Your professionalism and experience help you make important recommendations that impact patient outcomes. Essential Functions of the Role Focus on patient and family needs. Develop and adjust nursing care plans for desired outcomes. You will create a safe place for patients, families, and staff. You will help with emotional and physical pain to aid healing. Embracing diversity in all its forms, you will incorporate the unique perspectives and requirements of patients into your care plans. Patients, families, staff, and community will be educated continuously. Evaluate and record learning progress. You'll work with team and community to implement care plan, delegate tasks as needed.
