Aveanna Healthcare seeks a compassionate Pediatric RN to provide skilled nursing care to children in their homes and communities. In this role, you will deliver assessments, medication and treatment administration, and complex care such as trach, vent, and G-tube management as appropriate. You will develop care plans, educate families, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and document in EHR systems. Responsibilities Provide direct skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in home and community settings Perform comprehensive pediatric assessments and ongoing monitoring of patient status Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per physician orders Manage complex care needs such as tracheostomy, ventilator, and G-tube care when required Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans Educate and support patients' families on disease management and home care techniques Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care Accurately document all care and assessments in electronic health records (EHR) Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory standards during all patient interactions Participate in ongoing clinical training and maintain required certifications Required Skills Pediatric patient assessment IV and medication administration Ventilator and tracheostomy care Wound care Electronic health records (EHR) documentation Care planning and coordination Patient and family education Infection control practices Emergency response skills Home health nursing
