Location:
Adult Day Care Center Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our adult day care team. This position provides an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of elderly and disabled adults by delivering quality nursing care in a supportive and engaging environment. Experience in an adult day care setting is not required. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, adapts quickly to new responsibilities, and is committed to providing exceptional care. Training will be provided to the right candidate. Working with some of the most vulnerable members of our community can be both rewarding and challenging. The ideal candidate will possess patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with participants, families, caregivers, and fellow staff members. Compassion, professionalism, and an open mind are essential qualities for success in this role. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a required qualification. The ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish is essential to effectively serve our diverse participant population and their families.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including vital signs, medication administration. Current Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing. Fluent in both English and Spanish (required). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build positive relationships with elderly and disabled adults. Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to the unique needs of an adult day care environment. Basic computer proficiency, including documenting participant information, maintaining electronic and paper charts, completing required forms, and keeping accurate records. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a positive attitude, professionalism, and a caring demeanor.
