Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and reactions to medications
  • Assist with medical procedures such as wound care, tube feedings, and catheterizations
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Skills:
  • Valid license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment
  • Proficient in medication administration and dosage calculations
  • Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care interventions
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems for documentation purposes
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
