A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

$45.39- $51.
Differential Details:
$1.00 per hour- 2 years previous experience Up to $4.00 per hour

Graduated from an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas. At least 2 years recent nursing experience in behavioral health and or substance use nursing. Experience can be in any inpatient, outpatient, or residential treatment type setting. Ability to work collaboratively and be part of a multidisciplinary professional team. Computer literate with working knowledge of Windows/MS office applications. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and maintain approved driver's status throughout employment.Preferred Qualifications:
ANCC Psychiatric/Mental Health Certification or CARN certification. Experience working with individuals with behavioral health, developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, ER or primary care. Bilingual in Spanish. Salary Amount $94,411.20- $107,411.
