CNO Position - Critical Access Hospital Our Hospital Seymour Hospital is a 25 bed, critical access hospital designated as a Level 4 Trauma Center. Our facility is perched on a hill overlooking our beautiful city park in Seymour, Texas. We are the provider of quality healthcare services for Baylor County. We are located in the Rolling Plains region of North Central Texas, on the Brazos River. We are 52 miles southwest of Wichita Falls (about a 45-minute drive) and 102 miles north-northeast of Abilene (around a 1 hour and 30-minute drive).

Our CNO Position Position Summary:

Our CNO is responsible for supporting the mission of Seymour Hospital to provide accessible, cost effective, quality healthcare to the citizens of Baylor County. Our CNO is responsible for establishing standards of clinical practice and patient care, and for assuring these standards are implemented. The CNO directs, coordinates and monitors all Hospital activities concerned with the delivery of patient care and the ongoing evaluation and improvement of that care. The CNO is administratively responsible for Nursing Practice for all Units (ER, Med/Surg, OB), Perioperative Services (Day Surgery, OR, Recovery), Quality/PI, Employee Health Services and Infection Control.

Position Required Qualifications:

Graduate of a school of nursing with a current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas. BSN or MSN preferred. BLS required. Other Advanced Certifications preferred Minimum of five years' progressive nursing leadership experience required. Thorough knowledge of Medicare Licensure and Certification requirements for a Critical Access Hospital as well as Trauma System requirements and Infection Control.
