Position Title:
Sup Nurse Clinician (Nurse Clinician).

Pay Range:
$41.82•$52.55 per hour.
Shift:
Varied (Weekends, Holidays, OnCall, Flexible). The Nurse Clinician (NC) provides competent, generalist-level nursing care consistent with the Texas Nursing Practice Act and Harris Health Nursing Service standards. The NC independently manages patients common to their clinical area, applying standards, principles, and clinical algorithms, while identifying when additional support or resources are required.
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Diploma in Nursing or graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
Work Experience:
One (1) year fulltime RN experience OR completion of a GN program. Licensure /
Certification:
Registered Nurse (RN)•Licensed in the State of Texas. Basic Life Support (BLS)•American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross. Additional unit/service certifications as required.
Language:
Bilingual skills preferred.
Communication Skills:
Above average verbal communication (heavy public contact). Exceptional verbal communication (public speaking). Strong writing and reportcomposing skills.
Proficiencies:
PC/computer proficiency.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Mathematics competency. Medical terminology. Ability to work weekends, holidays, oncall, or flexible schedules.
