Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in our Healthcare & Medical Services department. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately following physician orders and protocols Monitor, document, and report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records and required documentation Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and quality improvement standards Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and care conferences as appropriate Support orientation and mentoring of new nurses and ancillary staff as needed Uphold Memorial Hermann policies, values, and professional nursing standards at all times Required Skills Patient assessment IV therapy and medication administration Telemetry and vital sign monitoring Care planning and coordination Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation (e.g., Epic or similar) Wound care and dressing changes Patient and family education Infection control and safety protocols Basic Life Support (BLS) skills Acute care clinical skills (e.g., catheters, NG tubes, central lines support)
