JOB DETAILS
Travel Labor and Delivery RN jobs at HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball in Tomball, Texas place you in a 350-bed Level III trauma center. The hospital features a Level II neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and uses Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Tomball is a 40-minute drive from Houston, where you can visit the Houston Museum of Natural Science. In Tomball, you can enjoy the Tomball Depot, a historic railroad museum and event space. You will provide care for mothers and newborns during labor and delivery, monitor patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Required qualifications include a current Texas or Compact RN license, at least one year of recent labor and delivery nursing experience, and proficiency with EMR systems. Certifications needed are Basic Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation, and fetal monitoring. Recommended skills include strong clinical assessment, patient education, and teamwork.
