PM Experience:
  • 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
  • 22 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
  • Travel experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
  • Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).
  • This role may require floating to additional units and locations
  • Travel only, local not allowed.

Program:

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Credentials:
All RNs (all specialties) must have
NIHSS & EHAC
within last 12 months. Certs can be obtained during onboarding.
Unit Details:
Adult and geriatric patient population. Priority admission is for patients requiring medical-surgical level monitoring, interventions, and specialized neurological care. Cares for medical-surgical patients with neurological, neurosurgical, and stroke-related conditions, including acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, transient ischemic attacks, seizure disorders, and traumatic brain injury, as well as select medical and surgical patients. Continuous telemetry and pulse oximetry monitoring. Focus on neurological assessment, stroke recovery, secondary stroke prevention, and optimizing functional outcomes.
Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend requirement: half of contract.
