Registered Nurse provides direct patient care, supports medical providers, and helps ensure safe, effective healthcare delivery. RNs assess patient conditions, develop and implement nursing care plans, administer medications and treatments, and educate patients and families. They work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to promote optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and symptoms.
Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions as prescribed.
Document patient information, care provided, and changes in condition.
Educate patients and families on health management, treatments, and discharge instructions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant patient environment.
Respond to emergencies and provide critical support when needed.
Required Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelors degree.
Active State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Completion of an accredited nursing program.
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care abilities.
