Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), where your expertise will directly impact patient care and well-being. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across various clinical settings, including acute care, long-term care, outpatient clinics, and community health environments. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing services, performing assessments, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your energetic approach and dedication will help foster a compassionate, efficient, and high-quality care environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic. Administer medications via IV infusion, injections, and other routes following aseptic technique and safety protocols. Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, catheterization, tube feeding management, ostomy care. Coordinate patient care plans by collaborating with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals across settings like hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining accurate medical documentation and safeguarding patient confidentiality during all interactions. Support infection control practices through specimen collection/processing, laboratory experience, and adherence to CDC guidelines to prevent infectious disease transmission.
Experience:
any is great, but will train We Love LPN's and New grads! A plus-working in diverse clinical environments including hospital medicine units like ICU or PICU; emergency medicine; outpatient clinics; or long-term care facilities such as nursing homes or assisted living communities. Skilled in performing complex procedures including IV insertion/venipuncture; catheterization; sterile processing; gastrostomy tube feeding; ostomy care, ect working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays in settings such as behavioral health or memory/cognitive impairment units is highly valued. Knowledge of medical terminology related to internal medicine, geriatrics, infectious disease care, occupational health, hospice & palliative medicine is essential for delivering comprehensive patient-centered services. $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
