Meditech Position Overview Moab Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced Outpatient Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, high-quality care in an outpatient setting. The position focuses on infusion therapy, chemotherapy, and some wound care . Because this is a rural healthcare setting, the RN should be comfortable performing a variety of general nursing responsibilities while developing strong, supportive relationships with a smaller patient population. Responsibilities Provide safe and compassionate outpatient oncology nursing care. Administer and monitor chemotherapy and infusion therapies according to established protocols. Provide wound care and monitor wound healing. Assess patients before, during, and after treatments. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately. Maintain infection-control and patient-safety standards. Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, and care plans. Accurately document patient care and treatment in the Meditech EMR. Collaborate with providers and other members of the healthcare team. Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Perform general nursing duties as needed in a rural healthcare environment. Demonstrate strong critical thinking and remain calm in rapidly changing situations. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Requirements Current ONS Provider Certification required . Current, unencumbered Utah RN license or compact RN license . Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current BLS and ACLS certifications . Wound Care Certification preferred , but not required. Oncology/infusion and chemotherapy experience preferred. Strong communication, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities. Reliable, punctual, and flexible with assigned duties. Full
