What they do
A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description
Qualifications & Education:
RN license in good standing with the State of Utah Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with bachelor's degree (BSN) 4-7 years current experience as a Registered Nurse Active BLS or ACLS certification from the American Heart Association Knowledge & Skills Experience in patient assessment and collecting phlebotomy samples Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems In-depth knowledge of nursing best practices Superb analytical, critical thinking & problem-solving skills Preferred qualifications Additional course work and/or experience in urgent care, immunizations, or travel health nursing is helpful Physical Requirements - This job requires the ability to perform the essential functions contained in this description.
