Encompass Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care, coordinate and implement individualized rehab plans, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team. You will monitor patient progress, educate patients and families, and ensure compliance with clinical standards and safety protocols. Responsibilities Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients and families in our hospitals and through our home health service. Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care, and implement interventions. Evaluate patient responses to care, and adjust care plans as needed. Educate patients and their families on illness and injury prevention, and manage their own health after discharge. Maintain accurate patient records and participate in activities for quality assurance and improvement. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Required Skills Strong clinical skills in a hospital or home health setting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Proficient in using electronic health record systems.
