Nursing Education:

Our client in Washington, DC is seeking several School Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and several School Registered Nurses to provide M-F clinical support and care. If you do not currently hold a DC license, you will be able to attend orientation with the receipt showing you have applied for a reciprocal license.

Please note that RNs are able to take home $8k+/month. LPNs are able to take home $6k/month.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

Provide comprehensive school health nursing services to school-age children
Community outreach, parent and care giver education, general nutrition, wellness education as well as immunizations
Service as a health resource for educators and administrators
Rotate between assigned schools as needed/required
Organize nursing activities for the day, including vision and hearing screening, clinical assessment of health conditions, and referrals
Appraise and address the needs of the general student population, students with chronic and acute health problems, and special education students with unique or complex needs
