Our client in Washington, DC is seeking several School Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and several School Registered Nurses to provide M-F clinical support and care. If you do not currently hold a DC license, you will be able to attend orientation with the receipt showing you have applied for a reciprocal license.Please note that RNs are able to take home $8k+/month. LPNs are able to take home $6k/month.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
- Provide comprehensive school health nursing services to school-age children
- Community outreach, parent and care giver education, general nutrition, wellness education as well as immunizations
- Service as a health resource for educators and administrators
- Rotate between assigned schools as needed/required
- Organize nursing activities for the day, including vision and hearing screening, clinical assessment of health conditions, and referrals
- Appraise and address the needs of the general student population, students with chronic and acute health problems, and special education students with unique or complex needs
