family, currently seeks an experienced Full-Time Director of Professional Services to join our Hospice team in Danville (Pittsylvania), Virginia. This is a great opportunity for an experienced, motivated individual to join a rapidly growing agency! General oversight of patient care and effective management of utilization of services. Coordination of agency functions. Oversee/supervise team of clinical and non-clinical staff including full-time & PRN RNs, LPNs, PTs, OTs, and Home Health Aides Why Choose MSA?   • And so much more Job Requirements Progressive clinical and management experience in a hospice setting strongly preferred.
Valid RN license to practice in Virginia OR licensed in the state as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech-Language Pathologist or Medical Social Worker. Minimum of 2 years' experience within the last 5 years in a
MEDICARE CERTIFIED
hospice agency setting required. Extensive knowledge and understanding of federal/state laws and guidelines pertaining to Hospice and Medicare. High level management skills needed to be successful in the role as a leader to include conflict management, negotiation, team building, communication and coaching/mentoring others.
