Job Description
Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced ICU RN to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill adult patients on flexible travel or contract assignments. In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement complex care plans; manage ventilators, drips, and invasive lines; and collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill ICU patients Continuously assess, monitor, and document patient status using EMR systems Manage ventilators, titratable drips, and invasive lines per ICU protocols Administer IV medications and treatments safely and accurately Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care plans Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and recovery Maintain strict infection control and patient safety standards Respond to emergencies and follow ACLS/critical care protocols Participate in handoff reporting and maintain accurate documentation Adapt to new ICU environments and workflows on travel/contract assignments Required Skills ICU nursing Ventilator management Hemodynamic monitoring IV medication administration Central line care Electronic Medical Records (EMR) ACLS protocols Wound care Patient and family education Infection control
