Inova Cares for Women is looking for a dedicated Lead Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team. This role will be full time day shift from Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm.

Job Responsibilities:

Performs essential duties necessary to clinic or non-acute operations to include: Full Intakes Reconciliation of Medications Patient Education Serves as a clinical expert and a team lead for all clinical staff in the outpatient environment while communicating effectively and working cooperatively with others. Achieves desired patient outcomes using integrated approach. Ensures improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development in lifelong learning and providing direction and guidance to others regarding practice. Serves as a resource, preceptor and mentor to the outpatient team.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in

Nursing Licensure:

RN licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.

Experience :

3 years of Registered Nurse clinical experience.

Certification:

BLS from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous outpatient experience as a Registered Nurse Previous leadership, charge or preceptor experience ACLS from the American Heart Association
