(RN) - PRN W-2 (AS NEEDED) - HOME

Home Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team as PRN field nurses serving Loudoun, Arlington, Fairfax, and nearby Northern Virginia communities. VIGEO Home Health is a trusted home health care provider serving the Northern Virginia community. POSITION SUMMARY

In this flexible PRN role, you will provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes, assess patient conditions, develop care plans, administer treatments, and coordinate with physicians and the clinical team. This is a PRN W-2 employee position with compensation processed through VIGEO payroll. This is not a traditional full-time hourly schedule; compensation is structured around completed visits, visit volume, and performance.

SERVICE AREA

Primary Northern Virginia service cities may include Alexandria, Annandale, Arlington, Ashburn, Burke, Centreville, Chantilly, Fairfax, Fairfax Station, Falls Church, Herndon, Leesburg, McLean, Reston, Springfield, Sterling, Vienna, Woodbridge, and nearby communities. Candidates do not need to cover every city listed; preferred territory and realistic ZIP code coverage are confirmed before visits are assigned. Visit assignments are grouped geographically whenever possible to reduce drive time.

TRAINING REQUIREMENT

This is a W-2 position with required onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training, including participation in scheduled clinical, documentation, EMR, competency, and compliance training sessions as required to support patient care standards, onboarding progress, and agency operations.

COMPENSATION

Indeed pay display: $55,000-$100,000 per year Actual PRN compensation is pay-per-visit and depends on visit volume, accepted assignments, visit type, patient needs, and documentation complexity Mileage reimbursement is available for home visits $500 sign-on bonus opportunity for PRNs who maintain an 85% case acceptance rate during the first 90 days Additional bonus opportunity for weekend cases or cases accepted within 24-hour notice Annual year-end bonus opportunity up to 5% of annual gross income for eligible PRNs who maintain required healthcare compliance status and case acceptance expectations PRN positions do not include traditional benefits such as health insurance, retirement plan, or

PTO WHAT YOU'LL DO

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and perform skilled nursing procedures in the home Develop individualized care plans based on physician orders and patient needs Monitor and document patient progress and communicate changes with physicians Perform vital signs monitoring, wound care, medication administration, disease-process education, and other clinical interventions Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation according to VIGEO policies and regulatory standards Support OASIS and home health documentation requirements when applicable Educate patients and caregivers on medication management, disease management, self-care techniques, and signs or symptoms requiring follow-up Collaborate with physicians, therapists, supervisory nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary team Identify and report patient safety concerns, changes in condition, and variances through VIGEO communication channels

REQUIREMENTS

Current unrestricted Virginia RN license Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred Current CPR certification, American Heart Association or equivalent Valid driver's license with clean driving record Current vehicle insurance and access to reliable transportation 2+ years of clinical nursing experience; home health experience preferred Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and documentation skills Experience with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems Smartphone with iOS device to access the VIGEO Home Health Chat App Ability to accept a minimum of 8 visits per month on a pay-per-visit basis Ability to complete VIGEO onboarding, competency assessments, and required compliance training

STRONGLY PREFERRED

Home health nursing experience Experience with OASIS assessments and homebound patient populations Familiarity with Kinnser/WellSky or comparable home health EMR Experience with wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, chronic disease management, or post-acute patients Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and requirements Spanish language proficiency

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift or move patients and equipment up to 50 lbs. with mechanical assistance when appropriate Ability to navigate stairs, uneven terrain, and varied home environments Ability to work safely in diverse home environments and manage infection-control requirements
