Job Description

Overview Bruce D Campbell Family Medicine is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN/LPN to join our healthcare family. Patient demographics stem from pediatrics to geriatrics and every life milestone in between with our provider routinely delivering babies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing medical records, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. The right candidate must be punctual, courteous and respectful at all time. Prior EHR experience is a plus but will train the right candidate. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Must be comfortable giving immunizations to all age ranges. Obtain vital signs manually and with automatic machines. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal health outcomes. Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention. Uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Preform daily blood draws for in house ordered labs. Send physician referrals both electronically and via paper fax. Obtain prior authorization for medications, referrals, orders and in house services. Requirements Valid RN/LPN license in the state of VA. (or multi state) Valid VA drivers license with reliable transportation. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Experience with medical records management and documentation practices. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and communication. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Previous experience in primary care or related healthcare settings is preferred. Certified MA's may also apply! Please note that job duties and salary would change.
