Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - EP Job Type Contract Exciting contract opportunity available for experienced Registered Nurses with specialized expertise in Electrophysiology (EP) procedures. This assignment calls for knowledgeable RNs who can support the EP Lab in providing exceptional patient care and assisting with complex cardiac procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care in the EP Lab, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation before, during, and after electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures Assist physicians with specialized cardiac procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and infection control protocols Monitor patient progress, respond promptly to changes, and coordinate interventions as needed Operate EP Lab equipment and facilitate necessary troubleshooting for optimal care delivery Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless workflow and high-quality outcomes Educate patients and families about procedures, aftercare, and follow-up services
Schedule:
Full-time contract Typical schedule is 40 hours per week
Qualifications:
Active RN license required Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in Electrophysiology Lab settings Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred Strong knowledge of EP procedures, equipment, and patient monitoring Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Eligible candidates can expect weekly pay ranging from $3,000 to $3,300 for 40 hours, with potential access to healthcare benefits, housing, and meal/incidentals stipends as applicable.
