Job Description

The Noncertified Dialysis Nurse provides specialized care to patients undergoing dialysis treatments, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being. You will work closely with nephrologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in a clinical setting.
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program Hold a current, active license as a registered nurse in Virginia or hold a current multistate licensure privilege as a registered nurse. Two years' experience with administering hemodialysis treatments Hold a current, active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) course completion card.

BSN, MSN
Salary:
$38.09- $57.14/hr
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess patients' health status and monitor vital signs before, during, and after dialysis treatments. Administer dialysis treatments according to established protocols and individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families about dialysis processes, diet, and medication management. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all care provided and any changes in patient condition. Ensure adherence to infection control standards and safety protocols to prevent complications. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families. Participate in staff training and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills.
