Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active Virginia RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Handle with Care, National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIH), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification. Experience in emergency room settings is preferred. Recommended skills include strong communication, adaptability, and experience in fast-paced environments.
