Mid Shift Schedule :
12-hour shifts for full-time requiring 36 hours/week with every other weekend Mid shiftHourly Range:

More about our team 34‑bed Emergency Department Provides emergency care to patients across the lifespan A collaborative, fast‑paced team dedicated to high‑quality, compassionate care Opportunity to have a voice in improving patient care and making a meaningful impact every day How you'll contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role: Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. Documents patient care provided. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs. Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Ongoing learning and career advancement opportunities. What we're looking for Applicants should have an active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact license. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins. Associate's degree in nursing required.Additional requirements include:
Bachelor's degree preferred American Heart Association Basic Life Support AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - both required within one year of employment-ACLS & PALS Previous experience in acute care hospital setting preferred.
